What we have here is a handpainted, handcrafted primitive "The Keeping Room" sign. This sign is made from a very old piece 3/4" rough-cut pine that has been sanded to perfection. This wood comes with wonderful imperfections for character. It looks very, but the sign itself is brand new! First, it was painted in black, then a coat of tapestry wine was applied, leaving hints of black showing through. The lettering is done in the color sand. This sign measures approximately 5 1/2" X 24"! It has a protective matte finish and comes complete with a sawtooth hanger.
