This is a set of primitive paper mache canisters with a paper mache shelf! The shelf has been hand painted in black. The bottom coat of the canisters is also black. The top coat colors of the canisters are red oxide, antique gold (mustard) and terra cotta. They have been heavily distressed with lots of black showing through giving them a very primitive and time worn appearance. A protective matte finish has also been applied. A pineapple has been stenciled onto all 3 canisters. The shelf has 2 holes for easy hanging is approximately 6" tall, 13 1/2" across and 4 1/2" deep. The canisters are approximately 4" X 4". The lids of the canisters all have wooden knobs, too! This set would make a welome addition to your primitive home!
